Learned classcal piano from the age of 6 Start playing bass guiter influenced by the Beatles at the age of 14
Played southern rock and bluce at high school
When I was in the University, I went to US and learned Jazz from Steve Rodney and Lin Cristie.
After several activities of live sessions in Jazz live house, joined to Brazilian music band. Played Brazil music and danced samba.
A lady(the winner of the first Cuban salsa dance contest in Tokyo) led me to the salsa world for the help of samba dance.
When I went to the clubs in NY first time and saw real salsa, I was shocked. Then I went to NY and learned NY mambo from
Angel Ortiz, Eddie Torres, Jimmy Anton, Carlos Konig. After came back to Japan, started to have salsa class"Mambo Machine"
1998 Organized salsa band "Durisima"
1999 Found salsa dance studio "La Clave Dance Studio"
Major performances are:Salsa festival in Osaka,El Gran Noche De Los Bailadores '99 , Kyoto Art Square, Japan Salsa Festival, Kyoto freedom shool, World salsa congress in L.A(2000)and local salsa parties and events
Invite major instructor and dancers from abroad such as NY,LA,Cuba and hold workshops in Japan and also go to abroad
myself and learn not only salsa but also the roots of salsa-Rumba,Bomba,Plena

@He is the one I learned NY style at first . Learned Ballet and Jazz at Morelli Ballet.Inc NY Danced as Principal dancer in Eddie Torres Dance Company since 1991
Performed with Team New York at the 1st World Salsa Congress in PR in 1997
He came to Japan for the show and workshop in 1997.
He does a lot of workshops in Europe.
He put the name of "Mambo Machine" to my class.

She taught me NY style with Angel. WSC@dance coordinator in Ny area.She does many workshops for women body movement.

Eddie Torres

@ The King of salsa mambo. He teaches over 25years. World famous Mambo King. He teaches everyday in Manhattan except in Tuesday.

His dancing is very stylish. He has been teaching over 10 years.

His class is just very much fun to take and students are very friendly.

Japanese Instructor who lives in NY. He teaches Samba, Zook,Lambada mostly. No salsa class right now.

Director of Descarga Latina Dance company. I invited him to Japan in November 2000
and did workshop. He is very popular in NY and produced Latin Madness April 2001.
